78 x 68cm - In his later years Gerhard Richter dragged around a lot of paint, making textured streaks. I imagine that this piece is what would happen if one of his streaks got an attitude and left for a disco tech.
86 x 96cm - Beige is a color I seldom use but have in a tube. After a long day, that tube finally made it out and found itself here. I must say that after a little glitter spray paint, that Beige found a way to coexist in my world.
Route examines the complexity in the relationships of travel between work, home, school and play. Each section of my life shows up here in its compartments, organized and sorted and is a geometrical snap-shot of that period of my life.

There is a simple math in Shoot that reminds me that motion can be tracked by an equation. I created this piece wanting to express how lines create movement and can carry a composition with intensity.
In Watch Out, I wanted to express the linear impact of aggression by breaking it down into components. The first shock is its own monster, but it's thin tentacles reach beyond the initial moment to become possibilities to discover something new.
82 x 72cm - Sometimes a composition wants to be two different people in one place, to make it simple I made a wall between them to keep them from fighting too much.
When I was a little girl I saw ghosts. As I tackled my inner ghosts in 2006, I was able to capture them here. U14 shows the conflict between the ethereal light nature of peace and deep dark place of suffering.
46 x 34cm - One of the few paintings I did in 2012 on my living room floor. It's constrained and tight but the little windows are magical. Mixed media acrylic on un-stretched canvas.
